Modernising IT Systems

Kyran began this work as Double H Nurseries’ IT Manager and continues to support the business independently through Klopa. The focus has been to modernise its IT infrastructure, streamline business processes, and create a more connected working environment.

The work has included business process automation and migration of existing systems to Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure. These changes have helped simplify everyday operations, reduce manual administration, and establish a scalable technology environment for the business’s evolving needs.

By taking responsibility for technical complexity and ongoing IT management, Kyran helps the team focus on running the business.

The Greenhouse Growers Ltd

The Fenland Glasshouse Project

At the Fenland Glasshouse project in Cambridgeshire, Kyran supported The Greenhouse Growers Ltd at a 217,000 m² growing facility designed around sustainable, energy-efficient food production. His involvement began as its IT Manager and continues independently through Klopa.

Across the multi-building site, he managed IT infrastructure, network connectivity, server systems, and communication between facilities. He also coordinated technology suppliers so their systems and services could meet the site’s operational requirements.

A central part of the work was developing Knack applications and APIs to connect operational systems with the new infrastructure. This brought information and processes together across the site, supporting more effective monitoring and management.

Practical IT management and ongoing technical support helped create a more reliable, connected environment for day-to-day operations.

Reliable Connectivity for Growing Operations

While IT Manager at Double H Nurseries, Kyran oversaw the implementation of a Three Business 5G connectivity solution across its greenhouses and remote locations. He now continues to provide independent IT management to Double H through Klopa.

Working alongside Three Business, he coordinated the technical implementation around Double H’s operational requirements and plans for growth.

The 5G solution enabled real-time monitoring, better communication between teams, and greater flexibility when establishing temporary sites during peak trading periods.

Connecting the provider’s technology with the business’s practical needs helped deliver a reliable, scalable communications environment.

Meet Kyran Poole. The founder of Klopa.

With over 14 years of experience in the IT industry, Kyran’s career began in technical support and customer account management, developing a strong understanding of both technology and the people who rely on it.

Over the years, his experience expanded into supply chain operations, business processes, IT management, and consultancy, building a broad range of technical and commercial expertise.

This combination of experience led to the creation of Klopa, founded on the belief that technology should make business easier and not more complicated.

Today, Kyran works closely with businesses to understand their challenges and deliver practical, tailored solutions. From system upgrades and cloud migrations to specialist greenhouse management systems, process modernisation, and cost optimisation, his focus remains on making technology more accessible, efficient, and valuable.

At the heart of his approach is a commitment to building lasting relationships, simplifying complex technology, and taking the stress out of IT, allowing businesses to focus on what they do best.
